President Tinubu Acknowledges AAAU’s Progress As He Celebrates Keyamo’s Leadership On His 55th Birthday

The president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR celebrates the transformative and commendable leadership of the Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development (FMA&AD), Barr. Festus Keyamo, SAN, CON, FCIArB(UK) @fkeyamo as he turns 55.

The President in a State House press release commended the Minister’s commitment in Serving the Nation and the aviation industry acknowledging the African Aviation and Aerospace University,(AAAU), Abuja as one of the key projects taken on successful under the transformative leadership of the Minister of FMA & AD over the past 15 months of assuming office.

The transformational growth that has taken place at AAAU since inception till now is evident and highly commendable with the unalloyed support and thorough involvement of the Honourable Minister.

Under the distinguished leadership of the Minister, AAAU acquired a permanent site land along the airport road where construction of key projects are ongoing and getting to their climax stage with TETFund full intervention.

Last year, the new Directorate of Professional Training Programmes(DPTP) trained over 184 staff of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).

The university has taken in two sets each of undergraduate and postgraduate students consisting of individuals from different African nations promoting a one African union which is one of our values.

AAAU has also established numerous collaboration and affiliations with international and national bodies and institutions to propel academic excellence and global employability for its students.

The African Aviation and Aerospace University,(AAAU), Abuja is committed to contributing to the overall growth of the African aviation sector by setting Nigeria on the global aviation stage.
