The African Aviation and Aerospace University (AAAU), Abuja, hosted a Ministerial Monitoring, Evaluation and Implementation Committee on a validation visit under the Federal Government’s TETFund-supported projects, focused on the development of its Aeronautical and Space Engineering Faculty.
The engagement involved a detailed review of the approved architectural and building plans, followed by a comprehensive inspection of the faculty’s proposed and ongoing infrastructure, including workshops, laboratories, lecture theatres, and related engineering facilities. The committee assessed design quality, equipment readiness, safety standards, and overall implementation progress in line with COREN BMAPS and NUC CCMAS benchmarks, while also engaging with faculty representatives on capacity and development needs.
The exercise provided both an evaluation of progress and constructive feedback to guide the continued development of a modern, well-structured, and standards-compliant aerospace engineering facility under the TETFund framework.
