The Directorate of Safety, Bureau of Standards and Evaluation, Nigerian Air Force, paid a courtesy visit to the African Aviation and Aerospace University (AAAU), Abuja.

The visit, led by Air Commodore Basiru Osuh Amuneni, Director of Safety, and Wing Commander Adeniyi Ottolorin Ademola, Deputy Director of Occupational Safety and Health, was primarily to follow up on the officers sponsored by the NAF for the M.Sc. Air Safety Management programme at AAAU and to explore additional slots for the next academic session.

They were received by the Registrar, Dr. Mustapha Sheikh Abdullahi; Director of Academic Planning, Prof. Yahaya Ibrahim Zayanna; Director of Professional Training Programmes, Mr. Aliyu Tata; and the Dean, School of Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Ayodele Gatta.

Further discussions focused on strengthening collaboration between both institutions, with plans underway to formalize the partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The delegation also toured the university’s facilities to familiarize themselves with the academic and training environment.
