The African Aviation and Aerospace University (AAAU) is taking significant strides in enhancing its professional training programmes department by initiating a partnership with the Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology (NITT).
A delegation led by Mr. Mustapha Sheikh Abdullahi, Registrar of AAAU, paid a courtesy visit to the Nigeria Institute of Transport Technology, Zaria to discuss potential collaboration aimed at delivering high-quality professional training programs. The AAAU team emphasised their commitment to offering an array of professional short courses designed to empower and enhance skilled manpower.
During the visit, AAAU identified three key areas for potential collaboration with NITT:
i. Facility Sharing
ii. Joint Coordinated Training
iii. Research and Development
The AAAU delegation was warmly received by the Special Adviser to the Director General of NITT, Mr. Sani Barau and subsequently met with Dr. Bayero Salih Farah, the Director General of NITT. Dr. Farah expressed his appreciation for the initiative and welcomed the opportunity for collaboration.
Dr. Farah affirmed NITT’s support for AAAU’s endeavors, stating that their facilities would be available for use by AAAU at any time. He concluded by assuring AAAU of NITT’s commitment to finalising with an MoU and working together towards a successful partnership.
