AAAU Supports Sabon Iddo Community with Bags of Guinea Corn

As part of its ongoing commitment to community welfare, enriching town and gown relationship, AAAU has donated bags of Guinea corn to the Sabon Iddo community. This gesture follows the university’s earlier initiative to compensate farmers whose lands were impacted by construction at its permanent site.

In line with AAAU’s social cooperative initiative to uplift local residents, the university reached out to assist farmers who were nearing harvest when their crops were affected. This donation of Guinea corn symbolises AAAU’s dedication to support natives around.

The Registrar, Mustapha Sheikh Abdullahi, together with the Director of Physical Planning and Works, Engr. Mas’ud Aliyu Yerima, presented ten bags of Guinea corn to the Sarki of Sabon Iddo, High Chief Yakubu Alkali, for distribution to the affected farmers.

AAAU’s commitment to building lasting relationships with neighboring communities underlines its goal of fostering a safe and beneficial environment for all.
