Abuja – May 15, 2025

The FCT Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, in partnership with African Aviation and Aerospace University (AAAU), Abuja, delivered a lecture in Hausa language to prospective pilgrims at Hajj Camp Bassa, Abuja on Thursday, May 15th, 2025, on the fundamentals of air travel prior their depature from Nigeria to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the 2025 Hajj.

The lecture aims to sensitize pilgrims, many of whom are first-time flyers, with vital knowledge on the rules and procedures regarding embarking and disembarking the aircraft, boarding documentation, and airport facilitation

This initiative is timely as it emphasizes public awareness and empowerment in the aviation sector. By offering these sessions in local languages, AAAU ensures inclusivity and enhances the confidence of travelers as they embark on their spiritual journey.
