The African Aviation and Aerospace University (AAAU) participated in the 2025 World Meteorological Day celebration hosted by the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) in Abuja.

With the theme “Closing the Early Warning Gap Together,” the event underscored the need for strengthened early warning systems through collaboration across sectors.

Representing AAAU, Dr Eniola Olaniyan reaffirmed the university’s commitment to advancing meteorological education and research. He highlighted AAAU’s role in driving knowledge and innovation to enhance climate resilience and stressed the importance of bridging the gap between research and practical application in meteorological services.
