The ceremony took place at the AAAU Take-off campus (NSIB auditorium) and commenced with an energetic band performance, featuring academics in ceremonial gowns leading the procession, followed by the singing of the National Anthem, which set a celebratory tone for the day’s events
In his welcome address, the Registrar, Dr. Mustapha Sheikh Abdullahi, acmi, congratulated the students, reminding them that by joining AAAU, they had “boarded a moving train of history in the making and would form part of the early pioneering generation that shapes the university’s culture, standards, and reputation”.

He concluded by welcoming the students into the AAAU family, encouraging them to remain focused and to serve as worthy ambassadors of the university. “May your journey here be fruitful, enriching, and memorable,” he said.
