The African Aviation and Aerospace University (AAAU), Abuja, participates in the ongoing International Civil Service Conference holding from 20th – 21st May, 2026 at Eagle Square, Abuja.

Representing the University at the event are the Director, Physical Planning & Works (DPP&W), Engr. Mas’ud Aliyu Yerima along side the Auditor, Mr. Ismail Yakubu; and the Liaison Officer, Mrs. Yinlayefa Omietimi Job.

The conference, themed “Reforms, Resilience and Results,” brings together key public sector stakeholders to drive innovation and enhance service delivery.

Highlights and discussions at the conference include the push for a paperless civil service through expanded digital platforms and AI-driven tools, as well as inter-agency sports and engagement activities aimed at promoting collaboration, unity, and staff wellbeing. The conference also aligns with ongoing efforts to improve worker welfare, including housing support and enhanced benefits for civil servants.
